About Me
MY CLINICAL BACKGROUND I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed by the state of Missouri, and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in 2007. I have experience working with individuals whose issues range from everyday life stressors (unemployment, divorce, relationship issues, grief) as well as individuals who have experienced major life disruptions (sexual/physical abuse, domestic violence, addiction) or mental disorders (anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, depression).

I believe in the uniqueness of each individual and will strive to create a personalized treatment plan to fit each individual need.
I use an integrative approach to therapy using techniques from several different counseling theories, because there is no “one size fits all” treatment plan in counseling. I work with my clients to create a plan that will work for them.
I strive to help clients find their strengths within themselves and the courage and motivation to make positive changes in their lives.
My role is to provide my clients with support and resources, to teach new coping skills, and to provide these services in a safe and supportive environment necessary for positive change.
